Privacy Policy
This policy explains how The Subdude processes information when you use the service.
Information we process
We process account details, the SaaS websites and product context you submit, planning preferences, generated drafts, opportunity workflow state, billing identifiers, and ordinary security/diagnostic logs. Stripe processes card information; The Subdude does not store full card numbers.
Website analysis
When you request an analysis, our server fetches a bounded set of public pages from the URL you provided and sends relevant page text to the configured generation provider to extract product facts. Source URLs are retained so generated work can be traced to evidence.
Reddit data
Live Reddit collection is disabled unless Reddit has approved the commercial use and the integration is configured. When enabled, we store only posts relevant to configured monitoring terms, scoring evidence, and your workflow state. We do not infer sensitive personal traits, sell Reddit data, train models on it, or automatically message Redditors.
Service providers
We use Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, storage, hosting and generation; Stripe for billing; and, only after approval, Reddit's authorized API for opportunity scanning. Each provider processes information under its own terms and our applicable agreement.
Retention and deletion
Plan data is retained while the workspace is active. Signal retention follows the subscribed plan. Removed source content is deleted or de-identified when detected through provider refreshes. You may request account deletion at privacy@thesubdude.com.
Security
Provider secrets stay server-side, tenant access is verified with Firebase identity and membership, unsafe network targets are blocked, and billing events require signed Stripe webhooks.
Your choices
You may edit or delete drafts, dismiss signals, disconnect integrations, cancel billing, or request export/deletion. The Subdude never sends a Reddit comment or private message without your separate action on Reddit.
